The MVD conical dryer has the unique feature of very mild mixed drying, even for materials that are very sensitive to mechanical forces, and the quality of the dried product is as good as the initial product. However, the driving force required is minimal. The high vacuum achievable ensures low drying temperatures (an advantage for heat-sensitive materials), good heat transfer and very short drying times, while requiring very low energy consumption.
Our MVD spiral conical vacuum dryer is suitable for batch drying of the following types of products:
- Crystalline products in granular form;
- Thermosensitive products that denature even at low temperatures;
- Toxic and/or oxidisable products from filter presses or centrifuges.
